Personality: 
- Clumsy
Darby is a very clumsy pup. He trips easily, and can’t walk in a straight line without hurting himself or others. His major flaw is his clumsiness. He wishes he could move around without hurting anyone, because he has gotten himself into some major trouble knocking over trashcans and running into little kids on accident. It’s even worse in his human form, hense why he usually only sits in this form.

- Excitable
Being under two years, he’s still a puppy. Everything new makes him happy, after he confirms it’s safe that is. Even a single word can get him bouncing around, laughing and happy. He’s a very easy going pup.

- Wary
He’s distrustful of humans, even in his own human form. He has few friends, afraid the other strays will attack him. He prefers to just stick up in his fire escape route, accessible by a dumpster right underneath the beginning of it. He’s quicker to turn tail and run, than listen to reason.

- Protective
A basic instinct, he feels he has to protect what’s his. The place in the alley he calls home, the few things he finds in good condition. He has no tolerance for those who mess with his stuff, Human, cat, dog, etc alike. His bark is just as bad as his bite when you mess with his things or ‘territory’.

- Forgetful
He usually tells himself ‘okay, gotta remember to do this’ and will forget the second he takes a step. There are few things he doesn’t forget. This isn’t to say he isn’t intelligent, he’s fairly smart, however he just has troubles remembering things in short terms. It’ll take him about a week to remember. Add his forgetfulness to the clumsiness, and you have a walking mess, also known as Darby.

History: 
-Originally born to be a show dog, Darby is indeed a purebred. However, he was unlike his brothers and sisters, much too playful and rambunctious, even when he was no longer a puppy. He was too clumsy to walk properly, and couldn’t sit still what-so-ever. One day, he heard his old owners talking about getting rid of him, selling in to some farm. That was one place he did NOT want to go. Darby had no herding instinct in him, that part left out for some strange reason. So, instead of allowing that to happen, he took off during a walk, able to yank himself out of his collar and leash. He’s been a stray since then and has no real wish to make friends with the humans, even though he’s had a couple try to catch him. Even in his human form, he tends to just stay up high, preferring building roofs and fire escapes to walking on the ground. He was indeed smart enough to figure out a system of low hanging fire escapes that seemed to connect, even though they didn’t. He’s often found hiding up there in both forms.
